| 1st Day: the Sassi of Matera arrival in Matera and transfer to your Hotel in the old districts. Lunch not included. Afternoon: guided tour around the Sassi with its small streets and squares, caves, rock churches and cellars. Dinner at one of the Sassi's typical restaurant. Overnight stay. 2nd day. The Rock Church Park and the Crypt of Original Sin Breakfast and leave for the Archeological Park of Natural History. A walk along the trails of ancient man, amongst Neolithic villages and rock churches covered by old byzantine frescoes. Lunch (not included) and transfer to Località Pietrapenta to visit the oldest roch church also named the "Sistin Chapel" among rock churches because of the many frescoes on the rock walls. Coming back for a typical dinner and overnight stay. 3st Day: the Benedectinian Abbey of San Michele Arcangelo After breakfast transfer to Montescaglioso to visit one of the largest abbey (10. century) in the Southern Italy.
