Sassi and Trulli Short Break (3 days-2 nights)
1st Day: the Sassi of Matera
arrival in Matera and transfer to your Hotel in the old districts. Free lunch. Afternoon: guided tour around the Sassi with its small streets and squares, caves, rock churches and cellars. Dinner at one of the Sassi's typical restaurant. Overnight stay.
2nd day. The Rock Church Park and Alberobello.
Breakfast and leave for the Archeological Park of Natural History. A walk along the trails of ancient man, amongst Neolithic villages and rock churches covered by old byzantine frescoes. After a free lunch, departure in the direction of Alberobello, the capital town of Truloes and a UNESCO's world heritage site. Accomodation in the historical centre in a Trullo dating from 1600. Visit of the town and overnight stay.
3rd day. Locorotondo.
Before your flight, you can pass through Locorotondo, a town famous for its d.o.c. white wine and the historical wine cellar.
Back to the aeroport. End of the tour.
