Visit to the archaeological excavations of Metaponto, an ancient colony of what once was Magna Grecia, will allow archeology lovers to admire the sacred area, the theater and the quarry of the ancient Metaponto.
The archaeological tour continues with a visit to the Tavole Palatine, the sumptuous temple of the 6th century. B.C. dedicated to Hera, to end with the visit of the Museum of Magna Grecia, where important and precious archaeological finds are kept, including an interesting collection of funeral kits and finds of various kinds found in the ancient polis.
Transfer to a farm estate in the area to visit a wine cellar and taste the delicious nectar, sitting in the garden of the wonderful estate.
